The Fault In Our Stars review + spoilers

Hello everyone! Last Saturday I saw a movie that has been getting a lot of hype recently, The Fault In Our Stars! I was contemplating whether I should read the book first but the book store had run out of copies of the book and I don’t really enjoy reading e-books or audiobooks. I got really really excited for this movie when I saw the trailer (you can watch it above) and even more when I saw one of Teens React’s episode as they were reacting to the movie trailer (you can see the video below).

I then got the opportunity to see the movie with my friends for one of their birthday’s. I didn’t actually cry in the movie but I did get very close to. I would definitely recommend going and seeing the movie, I am not a massive fan of sad or scary movies but I loved this one!

SPOILER ALERT: If you haven’t seen the movie yet please don’t read below as I will be talking all about the movie and giving a lot away. Also if you have seen the movie please do not comment below giving anything away as you would not like anyone to do that to you.

Can we just say how cute Hazel and Augustus are in the movie as a couple. They have both been through so much and are truly in love. They were both so up to any suggestions that each other had, e.g when they both read each others favourite book even though they thought that they would hate it. I love how Augustus contacted Hazel’s favourite author to try to get her questions about the author’s book answered.

I love the scene when they went to the Anne Frank museum as they were so many stairs for Hazel to climb up and every step was harder and harder for her she still persisted on and got to the very top. She then heard a voiceover from one of the exhibits, it was Anne Frank saying something along the lines of ‘cherish all the things you have now’ and then Hazel and Gus had their very first kiss.

Send me an email at: lucyoutandaboutblog@gmail.com with your favourite scene of the movie and if you cried or not and we can have a chat about it!

Hope your having a wonderful week!

Jamie Oliver Food Revolution Day

Hello,

As you may have seen today is Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution Day which is a day to celebrate and honour food that has made from scratch and how it makes a difference in our lives. My mum asked her followers to create a meal with your kids or you as a kid and I also asked you to do the same and make a lunch for school or work.

Today I made some pesto pasta for my lunch at school and I got to eat it talking to my principal with my friend because we are running assembly on Monday morning. Let me know if you participated in Food Revolution Day also and I can add it to my post.

XOXO Lucy
