lucy wears – dress + Quirky Circus, shoes + gift, bow + Grace’s Bowtique, necklace + lovisa
What a while it has been! Sorry for the absence. I’ve been considering lots of things over my time away and at the same time trying to catch up on my never ending to do list, lots of sport and homework + study. I have been having lots of thoughts about what I have been wanting to do considering either blogging or YouTube. But after my long break I’m still not too sure! You may get a blog post or you may get a youtube video it still pretty play by ear at this point. You would’ve probably noticed that I have got a new header plus a new blog theme. Thank you so much to Harri from Vanilla Craft Blog for making if for me! It was totally worth the money and I think it sums up perfectly my blog at the moment. Harri replied back so quickly to all of my emails and knew my vision straight away.
Oh my, I am in love with this outfit too much for it to be normal! I love where my pink bow is placed in this shoot. Grace’s Boutique sells amazing bows and I am so lucky to be working with her as one of her promoters. I have collaborated with Quirky Circus once before this post and loved working with them. I have worn this dress to a few parties (even mine) before I did this shoot but need to wait for the right time to do it. You could add a cardigan to this outfit or a big oversized jacket to still make this outfit wearable in the colder months. Quirky Circus can be purchased online or in your local Myer.
I really hope you enjoyed this post. I wanted my first post back to be something really special to me. Send me an instagram DM or leave a comment below on any suggestions you have for blog posts or YouTube videos and I’ll be sure to do them!

So good to have you back in the bloggersphere Lucy. Love the dress and the photo shoot! xx
Thank you so much Bec! I love the dress too, I love when I twirl it spins around! x
All the photos are lovely. I like the different backgrounds. My congratulations to your photographer.
Trends in Japan for their coming winter –
many boys and girls are wearing knitted beanies which have the high peak the sits way above the top of the head. I don’t like it, especially when it is worn on a warm day with a pretty outfit.
Only seen the last few days as the weather got cooler, girls and women using wraps in wool plaid or tartan. I saw them in the stores and in display windows.
Could catch on in Melbourne for our next winter.
Thanks Gran! Great ideas for winter style! x
